Charles Atlas: 1941
"The World's Most Perfectly Developed Man"
In 1922, the new Charles Atlas entered a competition in NYC and was crowned the "World's Most Perfectly Developed Man." Atlas's body was used as a model for numerous statues, Including George Washington in Washington Square, New York.
