One day, at Coney Island with a girl, young Angelo Sicilano had his pride damaged when a bully humiliated him in front of the girl. A few days later, in anguished solitude, Angelo watched the lions at a local zoo, stretching as if for exercise. He noticed the lions' taut muscles and was impressed by the lions' power. He developed his own set of exercises in imitation of the lions' workout!
